Craft

Build a Motorcycle- Using nothing but shapes try building a motorcycle. Here we used a half a circle, 2 circles, 3 small squares, and a triangle. Make it extra special by using a picture of your child as the driver of this super motorcycle!

Hand print Monkey- Trace your child’s hand and cut it out. Add some googly eyes, some ears, and a tail. Finish it off with a little banana.

 Extra- Hang the monkey hand print around your house on an object that begins with the letter “M” and see if your child can find where it is.

Activity

Like a Monkey-Pretend you are in a jungle and you are moving around like a monkey. Encourage your kids to act out like a monkey with sounds and jumping around.

Climb the mountain- Have your kids play outside or if you have a park nearby this is the perfect activity to practice on grass. Using their legs and arms reach and crawl like you were climbing a mountain. Talk about the types of things you could see at the top of the mountain or while climbing it.

Snacks

Mouth Watering Melon Salad- Dice up a variety of melons and serve as a perfect summer snack. Watermelon, melon, honeydew even. Yummy!
